    Fine Arts elevator out of service

    The Fine Arts elevator will be out of service today, Tuesday 2/25/03. from 8:00AM until 12:00 Noon for emergency repairs to the brake system.

    Alternate Access:
    Access to floors 1 and 2 via ramps on the east side of the building. There is no access to floors 3-5. Please contact the department you have business with for further assistance with access.

    Residence Apartment Building Pathway Closed

    The pathway between Residence Apartment Building and the Village will be closed to pedestrian access until July 15, 2003 due to construction activities.

    Alternate Access:
    Use existing accessible pathways and ramps through the Village located immediately along the north side of the Village's west exterior stair entry.

    Fine Arts Building Elevator Closed

    The elevator in the Fine Arts building is out of service for unplanned repairs. At this time it appears that it will remain out of service until Friday afternoon, 2/14/03.

    Alternate Access:
    This does effect ADA access to the building. There are alternative routes via the ramps on the east side of the building to floors 1 and 2. There are no alternative routes to floors 3-5.

    Ward Park Halls -- Main Entrance Improvements

    To enhance Residence Halls security, this project replaces the main entrance doors to Park and Ward Halls and modifies the main entrances.

    Alternate Access:
    Entry procedures and paths for the Residence Halls may change for short times during construction. The Contractor will post signs and guide people to an alternate entrance when and if these changes are necessary.
