July 21 -July 25 Update. Update: A Consultant for evaluating options for service optimization, including modernization has been called. In the meantime, elevator service tech continues to troubleshoot, for releasing the conveyance back in service. Please recognize that C- Wing Elevator will be out of service through out trouble shooting phase. The main elevator in BH (facing C. Chavez Center), will be accessible during inspection/repairs.

June 13, 2014. The elevator Village B: Not operational, this elevator serves the 6th floor. Presently, the 6th floor is not 'publicly' occupied. As needed, updates to the status of the elevator and/or occupancy will be posted.

Starting Tuesday, May 27, through May 30, SFSU will be resurfacing the parking lot including accessible spaces of the Parking Lot 19 by the Towers & Seven Hills Center; this lot will be closed. Please be aware this parking Lot 19 is not the same as Parking Area/Lot 19 within Parking Structure 20 & 19.

Beginning Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30 the campus will complete paving removal and replacement between the bottom of the UPN Bike path and the Fuel Cell in the NE corner of the GYM. Roads affected by this project will return to normal, by Monday June 2, 2014. During construction, pedestrian access from the accessible parking stalls behind the GYM to campus via the corridor between the GYM and Ethnic Studies will remain open, but there will be increased construction traffic. The accessible path to the Temporary Trailer Classrooms behind Thornton and Hensill Hall will be via the south side of the Gymnasium and through Thornton Hall. The UPN Bike path will be closed and detoured along 19th Avenue Tuesday through Friday. Lot 6 permit parking spaces behind Hensill Hall will be closed Tuesday May 27 and Wednesday May 28. Lot 6 Permit holders should enter campus on South State Drive and drive up through the open gate to park behind the GYM. Vehicles entering via North State Drive will be directed by flag-persons through Lot 20 to South State Drive. If the gate is closed at the foot of the Towers Dormitory, please use the Blue Zone parking of Parking garage 19/20 during this period.

March 4, Update from February 10: Burk Hall - C wing, west end elevator remains out of service. Updates will be posted.

Feb 20. Emergency repairs require that the Women Toilet rooms adjacent the Library main bank of elevators be temporarily closed. Affected rooms - T2, T102, T202, T302, & T402. Updates will be posted.

Feb. 13. Business Building elevator now operational

January, 31. The elevator for 225 Buckingham is operational.

The automatic door opener entering and exiting Student Services Building (SSB) to the patio is not operating at present. A work order is in place. Doors positioned next to all automatic doors of the Student Services Building remain ADA compliant.

January 23, 2014. The Science Building will be closed for the full spring semester of 2014. Please visit http://buildingclosure.sfsu.edu/ often for updates. January 17. All parking structure elevators are operational.

Effective Friday Jan. 10 @ 5pm, the entire Science Building will be closed until further notice. The reopening date is not known at this time, but it is likely the building will be closed at minimum through Wednesday, Jan. 15.
