July 23 - 24 Thursday through Friday morning. Burk Hall's C-wing elevator, servicing the West end of the building floors B through 3, will be out of service from Thur. 7/23, 3pm to Fri. 7/24, 8am, for generator repair.

Weekend of July 11-12: There will be construction activity on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM on the plaza north side of Creative Arts and southwest side of Student Center. There will be equipment in the west plaza that will lift the new CH-1 chiller unit to the roof of the 5 story Fine Arts Addition Building. Be aware - The accessible path of travel between Fine Arts and Creative Arts will not be available. The southwest exits of Cesar Chavez Student Center will be detoured. The east exits of Creative Arts Building will be detoured. No occupants will be allowed into the Fine Arts Addition Building.

Update March 27, 2015. The elevator within 225 Buckingham Way is back in service.

01/13/2015. Housing service desk reported elevator in 295 Buckingham, out of service. Elevator tech has been notified.

Beginning January 12 through January 26 contractors will be working to repair portions of SFSU's pathways and sidewalks. Repair work will entail demolishing and repairing, cross-slope, and trip hazards at various locations throughout campus. Work will be done as quickly as possible Mondays through Saturday. Please be aware that following areas will periodically be cordoned off: Lake Merced Blvd., sidewalk repairs. Font Blvd., sidewalk repairs from Mary Park Centennial Village parking garage driveway toward Tapia. Humanities Building / Tapia sidewalk repair. Burk Hall Courtyard / Garden of Remembrance, please note, Burk Hall/Fine Arts Courtyard will have multiple pathway closures, please use accessible entrance at East Entrance. Campus Quad, inner paths of the Quad running from the middle of the Business building path toward the Campus Bookstore and ATM stations. Science Building elevator entrance - the contractors will work so access is always available. Ethnic Studies and Psychology Building path, leading to the Student Health Center Mound. Five Corners, bollards and motor traffic gate area. Entrance to Lot 25. One side of the entrance to the lot will always be open. During the period of construction flags will be available to direct cars in and out of the lot. If necessary, updates will be posted.

January 2015. The West entrance to the garage is expected to be closed off for a few more weeks, the East and North West garage entrance is open and all garage services are operational.

January 6, 6am -8am both SSB elevators are scheduled for maintenance checks and out of service.

September 3 and September 4 2014: The elevator in Ethnic/Psychology Building is operating intermittently. SF State is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

August 27, 2014 Update: The elevators in the Student Services Building (SSB) remain only intermittently operational. SF State is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. An update will be posted when the matter is resolved.

August 19-25 Update: Burk Hall - C wing, west end elevator is out of service. If one has appointments with the Dept. of Secondary Education please call the office to make arrangements for assistance, and/or to request an alternative meeting place. Elevator service to all floors except the Basement are available at the east end of the building. Updates will be posted.

August 19. The ADA accessible entrance of HSS near room 0101 will be closed on Tuesday August 19th from approximately 8am till 12pm. The area will need to be cordoned off to allow for scaffolding to be set up to replace a broken window pane in HSS 0200 just above this entrance.

On September 13, one of two elevators within the Student Services Building is scheduled for maintenance.
