There will be concrete pouring activities this weekend at Block 6, which is bounded by Holloway Ave, Cardenas Ave, Serrano Drive, and Varela Ave.
Cardenas and Varela will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic and Serrano will be open to one way vehicle traffic only, starting at 11:00 PM on Friday 2/15 until 5:00 PM Saturday 2/16. Expect heavy construction vehicle activity on Holloway Avenue.

Cement pouring will occur this weekend beginning at 8pm on Friday (2/8) and continuing through Saturday (2/9) until 5pm. This will result in partial and full closures of Varela, Serrano and Cardenas. Expect an influx of cement pouring trucks. There may also be additional light and noise during these hours.
The same project will be occurring next weekend at the same time (Friday 2/15 at 8pm- Saturday 2/16 at 5pm).

As part of the campus wide electrical upgrade, there will be short power interruptions to utility power effecting Towers at Centennial Square (TCS), Science and Technology Theme Community (STTC), and Village at Centennial Square (VCS) from 12:01 AM on Thursday August 9th until 8:00 AM.
Mary Ward Hall (MWH) and Mary Park Hall (MPH) will experience an outage beginning at 11:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8th and will last until 8:00 AM on Thursday morning (August 9th).
Listed below are the status of the elevators per building during this outage.
• TCS – The 2 passenger elevators will be out of service
• STTC –The 2 passenger elevators will be out of service.
• VCS – 4 elevators all operational.
• MWH – 2 elevators all operational.
• MPH –2 elevators all operational.
These buildings will be on generators and the following is expected during this outage:
In MWH and MPH, once the power is transferred to generator power, buildings are expected to run normally, but around 11pm, a 3 to 5 minute outage is anticipated while the power is transferred to the generators and the elevators will be out of service. After the transfer is completed, the elevators will be fully operational.
Once power is transferred to generator power in TCS, STTC, and VCS, it is anticipated that the emergency lights will work during the duration of the outage, but elevators will be out of service in TCS ans STTC. VCS elevators will go unaffected.

The DPRC main office located in Student Services Building (SSB) 110 will be closed for some re-model work. The accessible courtyard doors directly into the DPRC SSB 110 office will also be closed during this time. Normal operations will be conducted out of SSB 105.
