Cesar Chavez Student Center west entrance will remain closed during this period. West entrance for cafeteria will be closed on Friday, Sept. 24, 2004.
Alternate Access:
Campus pathways on the north, south and east side of the building lead to an accessible entrance on the east side of the Cesar Chavez Student Center. Accessible entrance through the Bookstore is located on the north side of the building.

Concrete repairs, window replacement and painting of the 2-story wing of the Fine Arts Building may result in increased levels of noise, dust and odors impacting use of the accessible pathway between Burk Hall and the Fine Arts Building, and the accessible pathway between the Creative Arts Building (west end) and the Fine Arts Building.
Alternate Access:
Alternate routes to accessible entrances to the Fine Arts Building, which are located on the south side (1st floor level) and the east side (5-story wing), are available from the east or inner campus side. Pathway between the Health Center and Burk Hall provides access to the inner campus from the west. Science building elevator shutdown

The elevator in the Science building will be shutdown on Friday, 8/20/04, from 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM for urgent repairs.
Alternate Access:
The freight elevator can be used to access the second floor. This elevator is not ADA compliant and persons using this elevator would need assistance. Contact your department if you need to access the third floor to determine if alternate arrangements can be made.

19th Ave Campus Entry ADA Renovation

Beginning in mid June, work will begin to make corrections to the main campus pathway entering from 19th Avenue and serving the corridor between HSS ands ADM . Numerous improvements will be made to entries of these buildings, and campus visitors can expect short detours around the site until August 23rd.

Access from the walkway immediately north of the library will be blocked by 55 gallon drums today as floor load testing at the library's fourth floor begins. The walkway to the stairs leading to the entrance may be reduced in width throughout the day. On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, during removal of these drums, the situation will repeat. Also, on Wednesday and Thursday there may be a hose blocking the side walk on the library side of lot #3, at the storm drain located along that walkway.
Alternate Access:
Use the Quad path as an alternate accessible route into the library.

The University Facilities and Services Department will have a contractor replacing the waterproof coating material on the Administration Building, campus side ramp to the main entrance to the building. Also the Department will be replacing the coating material on the Admin south side entrance that is between the two sections of the Admin Building. This project will necessitate closing the campus side ramp and building entrance from Tuesday, January 20 through Friday, January 13, 2004.
